NEODUR HE 40 :

Heavy-duty industrial floors, acc. to DIN 18560-7, consist of a defined wearing layer with mineral hard aggregates acc. to DIN 1100. The result are industrial floors with above average good tensile and compressive strength values, very favorable wear resistance values ensuring constant sliding safety.

Hard aggregate screeds acc. to DIN EN 13 318 are hard aggregate screeds with an increased and defined resistance against wear.

Hard aggregate toppings are produced of hard aggregates acc. to DIN 1100 in coating groups A, M and KS. The layer thickness depends on the expected stress and is defined in DIN 18560-7, table 6.

There are 2 methods to install hard aggregate layers: “fresh-on-fresh” on the still fresh base concrete or time-deferred in composite on set base concrete (KORODUR-KOROTAN system).

Packing :

This product will be delivered in 25 kilogram special paper package.

For Export can be delivered in big bag.

Storage :

keep in dry indoor store.

Expiry date : 6 months from production date.

Processing :

On Existing Base Concrete

The base concrete DF ≥ 30 N/mm², bond strength ≥ 1,5 N/mm²) must be pre-treated by milling, shot peening etc. For nonpositive composite the surface must be free from cracks, even, free from loose and brittle particles and cement laitance, rough and open-pore. The evenness should be acc. to DIN 18202, table 3, line 3. Pre-wetting of the prepared base concrete 1 day prior to the installation, avoiding formation of puddles. Application of KORODUR Bonding Compound HB 5 on the matt-damp surface. Installation of NEODUR HE 40 analogous to the processing instructions for ”fresh-on-fresh” (layer thickness in middle 15 mm) , whereby in this case the installation can be carried out almost joint-free.

Curing

After final processing of top layer curing must be done according to DIN 1045 standard. to avoid rapidly lost of wayer content of concrete and NEODUR, top surface must be covered by polyethylene sheet, KOROTEX or KOROSEAL material.

After curing expansion joints must be apply on surface and final surface will be cut by a mechanical cutter machine. Dimension og cutting could be varried from 1.5*1.5 to 3*3 meter. Joint must be filled by proper material.
